You want more chats in the future?

  1. Selfishly, I’d like more of everything in the future, but it really depends on what you think is the best use of your time. I’d like more draft reviews and updates of the ones already completed now that the signings are done more than I want more chats.

  3. Yeah, more chats would be awesome.

Also, since you couldnt get to a draft preview, I’d love an A’s draft review.

  4. I would love another chat. I was sorry I missed yesterday’s chat. I had questions about the Brandon Kline and who was the biggest miss in the draft after the 2nd round? I just got into draft prospects and minor league ball. You really are insightful and already have added this to my favorite sites.

  5. When you did your Padres wrap, you wrote that they’d need to sign Lollis, Reyes and Wooten for you to be really impressed with the class. Well, they got two of the three, (including Reyes whose signing may be among the most surprising of the year for me) reworked Korbal’s deal, got all three of the kids from their early picks, and signed Needy at a pretty good price as well. Any thoughts on where your final grade will be?

    • It will probably be the same at B-. While I still like their combination of players, the fact that Tate required a record-setting bonus, along with the fact that Korbal needed Tommy John makes me more wary. It’s a decent class, but it’s probably in the middle of the pack. They picked a number of guys with arm history problems, so that’s also a factor. I still don’t like Hagerty, and they didn’t take anyone that good after round seven, as even Lollis and Reyes are high risk. Not signing Madrigal is also a big blow.
