Dynasty League Openings

Here’s the link to the dynasty league again.

Using the signups on the league page and the comments below, here are the open teams. We’ll be doing our first amateur draft using the raw order for the 2010 draft, so yes, the Nationals are an appealing team to have.

Open (14 teams):

Yankees
Blue Jays
White Sox
Indians
Tigers
Twins
Angels
Athletics
Mariners
Marlins
Mets
Phillies
Nationals
Cubs
Reds
Astros
Cardinals
Diamondbacks

Padres
Giants

    • That’s fine. Any way you could find someone interested in running the Mets?I’d like to give control of the team to a real Mets fan.

  4. so the draft that we r having is of players from the 2009 draft but it is the 2010 order?

Comment by Kyle Stanzel | October 24, 2009 | Reply

    • It’s players from the 2009 draft plus all future-eligible players. It’s ten rounds, and the reason it’s using the 2010 draft order is that it’s the fairest way to dole out talent in order to create competitive balance. Teams with a worse record in 2009 are more in need of top talent immediately, rather than looking back an entire year in a dynasty league that didn’t even exist until now. The draft will always be held in October after the year is done so that the teams with the worst records have the first shot at the best talent.
